Do prelanders still matter in 2025?

I keep hearing conflicting things about prelanders. Some affiliates swear by them, others say they’re outdated. I’m working in the health supplement vertical and wondering if it’s worth investing time in optimizing prelanders or just send traffic straight to the offer.

It depends a lot on the traffic source and product. Some verticals perform better with a warm-up page.

Prelanders definitely haven’t lost their value — if anything, they’ve evolved. Straight-to-offer might work for hyper-warm traffic, but for cold or native traffic, you’re leaving money on the table. In my supplement campaigns, adding a simple, well-structured prelander increased CTR by 35%. I followed these prelanders in affiliate marketing tips to fine-tune headlines, credibility indicators, and subtle CTAs. Also, test multiple angles — health trends, testimonials, or even myth-busting hooks. Prelanders aren’t just about conversions; they also improve ad quality scores and reduce bounce rates.
